Mounted on a chariot, attached with a fender and driven by horses, the charioteer ( Sumantra ) advanced towards the royal palace of Rama, beautifying the human and the royal races, delighting the minds of the people of the city. ॥ 2-15-41॥

sa vAjiyuktena rathena sArathi । rnarAkulaM rAjakulam virAjayan । varUthinA rAmagRhAbhipAtinA । purasya sarvasya manAMsi harzayan ॥ 2-15-41
