एवं बहुविधं तं सा याचते गमनं प्रति । नानुमेने महाबाहुस्तां नेतुं विजनं वनम् ॥ २-२९-२२

Despite Sita's pleadings with him in various ways the mightyarmed Rama would not consent to take her to the desolate forest. ॥ 2-29-22॥
