महेंद्रसद्मप्रतिमं तु वेश्म । रामस्य रम्यं मृगपक्षिजुष्टं । ददर्श मेरोरिव शृंगमुच्चं । विभ्राजमानं प्रभया सुमम्त्रः ॥ २-१५-४५
Sumantra beheld Rama's palace which resembled the abode of Indra, filled with animals and birds. It looked like the high summit of mount Meru shining with splendour. [2-15-45]
