सज्जं द्युतिकरं श्रीमदभिषेकपुरस्कृतम् । पाण्डुरश्च वृषः सज्जः पाण्डुरोऽस्वश्च सुस्थितः ॥ २-१५-११
- or the pole star was kept in front of the coronation pavilion. A bull and a horse both pale white was kept ready . - ॥ 2-15-11॥
english translation
sajjaM dyutikaraM zrImadabhiSekapuraskRtam । pANDurazca vRSaH sajjaH pANDuro'svazca susthitaH ॥ 2-15-11
hk transliteration by Sanscriptप्रसृतश्च गजः श्रीमानौपवाह्यः प्रतीक्षते । अष्टौ च कन्या माङ्गल्याः सर्वाभरणभूषिताः ॥ २-१५-१२
- and a majestic elephant ( flowing ichor from its temples ), worthy of ride by a king also stood waiting. Eight auspicious maidens adorned with all types of ornaments - ॥ 2-15-12॥
english translation
prasRtazca gajaH zrImAnaupavAhyaH pratIkSate । aSTau ca kanyA mAGgalyAH sarvAbharaNabhUSitAH ॥ 2-15-12
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवादित्राणि च सर्वाणि वन्दिनश्च तथापरे । इक्ष्वाकूणां यथा राज्ये संभ्रियेताभिषेचनम् ॥ २-१५-१३
- all sorts of musical instruments, panegyrists and others (were in waiting). Just as articles necessary for the consecration of the descendants of the Ikshvakus, are customarily arranged in the kingdom - ॥ 2-15-13॥

vAditrANi ca sarvANi vandinazca tathApare । ikSvAkUNAM yathA rAjye saMbhriyetAbhiSecanam ॥ 2-15-13
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतथाजातीयमादाय राजपुत्राभिषेचन्म् । ते राजवचनात्तत्र समवेता महीपतिम् ॥ २-१५-१४
- in the same way things were arranged for the coronation of the prince belonging to that race. All those who had assembled there in response to the order of the king . - ॥ 2-15-14॥

tathAjAtIyamAdAya rAjaputrAbhiSecanm । te rAjavacanAttatra samavetA mahIpatim ॥ 2-15-14
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअपश्यन्तोऽब्रुवन् को बु राज्ञोनः प्रतिपादयेत् । न पश्यामश्च राजानमुदितश्च दिवाकरः ॥ २-१५-१५
- could not see him and so they said to themselves 'Who will inform the king of our arrival. The Sun has risen. But we do not find the king. ॥ 2-15-15॥

apazyanto'bruvan ko bu rAjJonaH pratipAdayet । na pazyAmazca rAjAnamuditazca divAkaraH ॥ 2-15-15
