प्रग्ऱ्हीत अन्जलिः किंचित् तस्मात् देशात् अपाक्रमन् । यदा वक्तुम् स्वयम् दैन्यान् न शशाक मही पतिः ॥ २-१४-६१

तदा सुमन्त्रम् मन्त्रज्ञा कैकेयी प्रत्युवाच ह । सुमन्त्र राजा रजनीं रामहर्षसमुत्सुकः ॥ २-१४-६२
- to Sumantra, crafty Kaikeyi said to him in reply 'Oh ! Sumantra, excited with joy on account of the (proposed) installation of Rama, all night, the king . - [2-14-62]

प्रजागरपरिश्रान्तो निद्रावशमुपेयुवान् । तद्गच्छ त्वरितं सूत राजपुत्रं यशस्विनम् ॥ २-१४-६३
- did not have a wink of sleep. He is weary and overpowered with sleep. So, Oh ! charioteer (Sumantra), quickly go to the gentle, illustrious prince . - [2-14-63]
english translation
राममानय भद्रं ते नात्र कार्या विचारणा । स मन्यमानः कल्याणम् हृदयेन नन्नन्ध च ॥ २-१४-६४
- Rama and fetch ( Rama ). Let there be no hesitation in this matter.' He ( Sumantra ) was thinking of that auspicious occasion in heart and rejoiced. [2-14-64]

निर्जगाम च संप्रीत्या त्वरितो राजशासनात् । सुमन्त्रश्चिन्तयामास त्वरितं चोदितस्तया ॥ २-१४-६५
In obedience to royal order, left at once with pleasure. Urged by her( Kaikeyi ), Sumantra thought quickly . - [2-14-65]
