नृशंसवृत्ते व्यसनप्रहारिणि । प्रसह्य वाक्यम् यदिहाद्य भाषसे । न नाम ते केन मुखात्पतन्त्यधो । विशीर्यमाणा दशना स्सहस्रधा ॥ २-१२-१०९
Oh ! cruel-hearted woman, you strike one in adversity. Why are your teeth with which you are now speaking (such harsh words) do not fall to the ground, broken into a thousand fragments? [2-12-109]
