Ramayana
अनपत्येन च स्नेहादङ्कमारोप्य च स्वयम् । ममेयं तनयेत्युक्त्वा स्नेहो मयि निपातितः ॥ २-११८-३०
As he had no children, he, on his own accord, lifted me up and placing me on his lap, saying, This is my daughter, he began showering (lots of) love on me. ॥ 2-118-30॥
english translation
anapatyena ca snehAdaGkamAropya ca svayam । mameyaM tanayetyuktvA sneho mayi nipAtitaH ॥ 2-118-30
