तं भूमौ पितुरार्तेन न्यस्तं रामेण वीक्ष्य सा । उवाच देवी कौसल्या सर्वा दशरथस्त्रियः ॥ २-१०३-९

Seeing the pinda (edible offering made to the departed soul) placed on the ground for his father by the distressed Rama, queen Kausalya, addressing all the wives of Dasaratha, said ॥ 2-103-9॥

taM bhUmau piturArtena nyastaM rAmeNa vIkSya sA । uvAca devI kausalyA sarvA dazarathastriyaH ॥ 2-103-9
