सौमित्रिरपि ताः सर्वा मातृ़स्सम्प्रेक्ष्य दुःखितः । अभ्यवादयतासक्तं शनै रामादनन्तरम् ॥ २-१०३-२०
On seeing his mothers, Lakshmana, too, was overcome with grief and with devotion followed Rama and slowly bowed to them with reverence. [2-103-20]
