अमोघं बत मे क्षान्तं पुरुषे पुष्करेक्षणे । येयमिक्ष्वाकुराज्यश्रीः पुत्र त्वां संश्रयिष्यति ॥ २-४-४१
Oh ! my son my devotion to the lotus eyed Bhagvaan Vishnu, enduring the pain (of observance of vows and fasting) have not gone in vain. Hence, this glorious kingdom of Ikshvaku dynasty is going to embrace you.' [2-4-41]
