चक्रतुश्चैव यच्छेषं पार्थिवाय निवेद्य च । कृतमित्येव चाब्रूतामभिगम्य जगत्पतिम् ॥ २-३-२१
- and whatever remained to be done, that one also, reported to the king. The lord of the earth (Dasharatha) having approached and told that 'All things have been arranged . - ॥ 2-3-21॥

cakratuzcaiva yaccheSaM pArthivAya nivedya ca । kRtamityeva cAbrUtAmabhigamya jagatpatim ॥ 2-3-21
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयथोक्तवचनं प्रीतौ हर्षयुक्तौ द्विजर्षभौ । ततः सुमन्त्रं द्युतिमान् राजा वचनमब्रवीत् ॥ २-३-२२
- in accordance with your word of command.', by the two illustrious brahmins ( Vashistha and Vamadeva ) satisfied and delight with the arrangements. Thereafter the glorious king said to Sumantra - ॥ 2-3-22॥

yathoktavacanaM prItau harSayuktau dvijarSabhau । tataH sumantraM dyutimAn rAjA vacanamabravIt ॥ 2-3-22
hk transliteration by Sanscriptरामः कृतात्मा भवता शीघ्रमानीयतामिति । स तथेति प्रतिज्ञाय सुमन्त्रो राजशासनात् ॥ २-३-२३
- 'Let the selfpossessed Rama, be brought by you immediately.' In response to the king's command Sumantra said, 'so be it' and . - ॥ 2-3-23॥

rAmaH kRtAtmA bhavatA zIghramAnIyatAmiti । sa tatheti pratijJAya sumantro rAjazAsanAt ॥ 2-3-23
hk transliteration by Sanscriptरामं तत्रानयांचक्रे रथेन रथिनां वरम् । अथ तत्र समासीनास्तदा दशरथं नृपम् ॥ २-३-२४

- kings belonging to east, west, north, south as well as those belonging to Mlechha kingdom, Aryaa Vartha kingdom and those ruling in hill and forest areas - ॥ 2-3-25॥
