दश सप्त च वर्षाणि जातस्य तव राघव | अतितानि प्रकाङ्क्षन्त्या मया दुःखपरिक्षयम् || २-२०-४५

Oh ! Rama, I have spent the last seventeen years after your rebirth (after your investiture with the sacred thread regarded as second birth) with the expectation that my sorrows would come to an end. [2-20-45]

daza sapta ca varSANi jAtasya tava rAghava | atitAni prakAGkSantyA mayA duHkhaparikSayam || 2-20-45
