Ramayana
ततो महामेघमहीधराभं । प्रभिन्नमत्यङ्कुशमत्यसह्यम् । रामोपवाह्याम् रुचिरम् ददर्श । शत्रुम्जयं नागमुदग्रकायम् ॥ २-१५-४७
He beheld a beautiful elephant named Satrunjaya with a huge body on which Rama was to mount. It looked like a vast mountain or a huge cloud. With ichor flowing from his temples and without caring for the goad, the elephant was intolerant. ॥ 2-15-47॥
english translation
tato mahAmeghamahIdharAbhaM । prabhinnamatyaGkuzamatyasahyam । rAmopavAhyAm ruciram dadarza । zatrumjayaM nAgamudagrakAyam ॥ 2-15-47
