प्रतिबुद्ध्य ततो राजा इदं वचनमब्रवीत् । राममानय सूतेति यदस्यभिहितोऽनया ॥ २-१५-२६
- thereafter king ( Dasharatha ) woke up and said : 'Oh ! charioteer, You had been asked by her (Kaikeyi) to bring Rama here. [2-15-26]
english translation
किमिदं कारणम् येन ममाज्ञा प्रतिहन्यते । न चैव सम्प्रसुप्तोऽहमानयेहाशु राघवम् ॥ २-१५-२७
What is the reason, the command is disregarded? I did not sleep (last night). Bring Raaghava ( son of the Raghus, Rama ) here at once' - [2-15-27]

इति राजा दशरथः सूतं तत्रान्वशात्पुनः । स राजवचनं श्रुत्वा शिरसा प्रतिपूज्य तम् ॥ २-१५-२८
- thus, king Dasharatha said to the charioteer there again. At these words of the king, he offered his salutations by bowing his head . - [2-15-28]

निर्जगम नृपावासान्मन्यमानः प्रियं महत् । प्रसन्नो राजमार्गं च पताकाध्वजशोभितम् ॥ २-१५-२९
- and left the king's apartment, reflecting on the great happy event. At the highway bedecked with pennants and banners, with placid mind . - [2-15-29]

हृष्टः प्रमुदितः सूतो जगामाशु विलोकयन् । स सूतस्तत्र शुश्राव रामाधिकरणाः कथाः ॥ २-१५-३०
- the charioteer went looking cheerfully and happily. The charioteer ( Sumantra ) heard the conversation relating to Rama . - [2-15-30]
