द्वे चास्य भार्ये गर्भिण्यौ बभूवतुरिति श्रुतिः । एका गर्भविनाशाय सपत्न्यै गरलं ददौ ॥ २-११०-१८

Both his wives became pregnant. It is said that one of them gave the other poison (with the motive) to destroy the embryo. ॥ 2-110-18॥

english translation

dve cAsya bhArye garbhiNyau babhUvaturiti zrutiH । ekA garbhavinAzAya sapatnyai garalaM dadau ॥ 2-110-18
