निविष्टायां तु सेनायामुत्सुको भरतस्तदा । जगाम भ्रातरं द्रष्टुं शत्रुघ्नमनुदर्शयन् ॥ २-९९-१
Eager to see his brother, Bharata encamped the army and set out showing the hermitage to Satrughna. [2-99-1]
english translation
ऋषिं वसिष्ठं सन्दिश्य मातृ़र्मे शीघ्रमानय । इति त्वरितमग्रे स जगाम गुरुवत्सलः ॥ २-९९-२
Bharata, deeply devoted towards elders, indicated to sage Vasistha to bring along the mothers, and proceeded ahead quickly. [2-99-2]

सुमन्त्रस्त्वपि शत्रुघ्नमदूरादन्वपद्यत । रामदर्शनजस्तर्षो भरतस्येव तस्य च ॥ २-९९-३
Sumantra, who was overeager, like Bharata, to see Rama, followed Satrughna who was not far from him. [2-99-3]

गच्छन्नेवाथ भरतस्तापसालय संस्थिताम् । भ्रातुः पर्णकुटीं श्रीमानुटजं च ददर्श ह ॥ २-९९-४
While walking, Bharata beheld a hut made of leaves looking like a hermit's cottage. [2-99-4]
english translation
शालायास्त्वग्रत स्तस्या ददर्श भरत स्तदा । काष्ठानि चावभग्नानि पुष्पाण्युपचितानि च ॥ २-९९-५
In front of that hut Bharata beheld shattered logs of wood and also flowers plucked. [2-99-5]
