एतस्मिन्नन्तरे त्रस्ताः शब्देन महता ततः | अर्दिता यूथपा मत्ताः सयूथा दुद्रुवुर्दिशः || २-९६-४

Meanwhile, the mighty leaders of the elephantherds were agitated, and frightened by the loud noise, fled away from there in different directions. [2-96-4]

etasminnantare trastAH zabdena mahatA tataH | arditA yUthapA mattAH sayUthA dudruvurdizaH || 2-96-4
