Rama, the best of men and tormentor of enemies, after reaching the other side of the river, left the boat and proceeded with Sita and his brother. [2-52-93]
अथाब्रवीन्महाबाहुः सुमित्रानन्दवर्धनम् | भव संरक्षणार्थाय सजने विजनेऽपि वा || २-५२-९४
The long-armed Rama then said to Lakshmana, enhancer of the joy of Sumitra : - 'Whether in populated areas or in solitary places, excercise alacrity in the matter of protection. [2-52-94]
In this desolate forest which we had never seen before we must certainly be concerned about our protection. Oh ! Lakshmana , let Sita follow you. [2-52-95]
