स्त्रीसहस्रनिनादश्च संजज्ञे राजवेश्मनि । हा हा रामेति सहसा भूषणध्वनिमूर्छितः ॥ २-३४-१९

All on a sudden there arose from (the mouths of) a thousand women of the palace cries of 'alas, alas, Rama' mingled with the tinkling sounds of their ornaments. ॥ 2-34-19॥

strIsahasraninAdazca saMjajJe rAjavezmani । hA hA rAmeti sahasA bhUSaNadhvanimUrchitaH ॥ 2-34-19
