Ramayana
दैवम् पुरुष कारेण यः समर्थः प्रबाधितुम् । न दैवेन विपन्न अर्थः पुरुषः सो अवसीदति ॥ २-२३-१७
In the case of one capable of striking destiny with human efforts it cannot defeat his objective and bring him despondency. ॥ 2-23-17॥
english translation
daivam puruSa kAreNa yaH samarthaH prabAdhitum । na daivena vipanna arthaH puruSaH so avasIdati ॥ 2-23-17
