कश्चित् दैवेन सौमित्रे योद्धुम् उत्सहते पुमान् । यस्य न ग्रहणम् किंचित् कर्मणो अन्यत्र दृश्यते ॥ २-२२-२१

sanskrit

Oh ! Soumitre ( Lakshmana ) which mortal has the power to fight with destiny the grip of which can be comprehended by following its course only through its effect and nowhere else. ॥ 2-22-21॥

english translation

kazcit daivena saumitre yoddhum utsahate pumAn । yasya na grahaNam kiMcit karmaNo anyatra dRzyate ॥ 2-22-21
