कश्चित् दैवेन सौमित्रे योद्धुम् उत्सहते पुमान् | यस्य न ग्रहणम् किंचित् कर्मणो अन्यत्र दृश्यते || २-२२-२१

sanskrit

Oh ! Soumitre ( Lakshmana ) which mortal has the power to fight with destiny the grip of which can be comprehended by following its course only through its effect and nowhere else. [2-22-21]

english translation

kazcit daivena saumitre yoddhum utsahate pumAn | yasya na grahaNam kiMcit karmaNo anyatra dRzyate || 2-22-21
