नृशंसां कैकेयीं द्रष्टुं यत्कृते व्यसनं महत् । एवमुक्त्वा ततो राजा कैकेयीं संयताञ्जलिः ॥ २-१३-१९
- malicious Kaikeyi who is the cause of this great misfortune, to see'. The king spoke like this and beseeched kaikeyi with folded hands. ॥ 2-13-19॥

nRzaMsAM kaikeyIM draSTuM yatkRte vyasanaM mahat । evamuktvA tato rAjA kaikeyIM saMyatAJjaliH ॥ 2-13-19
