यत्राहमपि तेनैव नियुक्तः पुण्यकर्मणा । तत्रैवाहं करिष्यामि पितुरार्यस्य शासनम् ॥ २-१०५-४१
I shall also stick to the command of our noble father who was a man of sacred deeds. ॥ 2-105-41॥
english translation
yatrAhamapi tenaiva niyuktaH puNyakarmaNA । tatraivAhaM kariSyAmi piturAryasya zAsanam ॥ 2-105-41
hk transliteration by Sanscriptन मया शासनं तस्य त्यक्तुं न्याय्य मरिन्दम । स त्वयापि सदा मान्यं स वै बन्धु स नः पिता ॥ २-१०५-४२
Oh ! subduer of enemies, I cannot violate the order of the king. You also must respect it for he is our father and well wisher indeed. ॥ 2-105-42॥
english translation
na mayA zAsanaM tasya tyaktuM nyAyya marindama । sa tvayApi sadA mAnyaM sa vai bandhu sa naH pitA ॥ 2-105-42
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतद्वचः पितुरेवाहं सम्मतं धर्मचारिणः । कर्मणा पालयिष्यामि वनवासेन राघव ॥ २-१०५-४३
Oh ! Raaghava ( Bharata ), I will, therefore, obey the command of our venerable father, the champion of righteousness, by living in the forest. ॥ 2-105-43॥
english translation
tadvacaH piturevAhaM sammataM dharmacAriNaH । karmaNA pAlayiSyAmi vanavAsena rAghava ॥ 2-105-43
hk transliteration by Sanscriptधार्मिकेणानृशंसेन नरेण गुरुवर्तिना । भवितव्यं नरव्याघ्र परलोकं जिगीषता ॥ २-१०५-४४
Oh ! best of men, if a man aspires to conquer the higher world, he should remain virtuous, compassionate and obedient to his preceptors. ॥ 2-105-44॥
english translation
dhArmikeNAnRzaMsena nareNa guruvartinA । bhavitavyaM naravyAghra paralokaM jigISatA ॥ 2-105-44
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआत्मानमनुतिष्ठत्वं स्वभावेन नरर्षभ । निशाम्य तु शुभं वृत्तं पितुर्दशरथस्य नः ॥ २-१०५-४५
Oh ! best of men, having seen the auspicious life of our father Dasaratha and his conduct, you also stick to your own duty.' ॥ 2-105-45॥

AtmAnamanutiSThatvaM svabhAvena nararSabha । nizAmya tu zubhaM vRttaM piturdazarathasya naH ॥ 2-105-45
