किं त्वाऽमन्यत वैदेहः पिता मे मिथिलाधिपः । राम जामातरं प्राप्य स्त्रियं पुरुषविग्रहम् ॥ २-३०-३
- 'Oh ! Rama while accepting you as soninlaw did my father, king of Mithila and lord of Videha ever think that you are a woman in the guise of a man? [2-30-3]
english translation
kiM tvA'manyata vaidehaH pitA me mithilAdhipaH । rAma jAmAtaraM prApya striyaM puruSavigraham ॥ 2-30-3
