यथालब्धेन कर्तव्यः सन्तोष्स्तेन मैथिलि । यताहारैर्वनचरैः सीते दुःखमतो वनम् ॥ २-२८-१७
The wanderers in the jungle, Oh ! daughter of Mithila ( Sita ), have to be satisfied daily with whatever little food is available. So forest (life) is a hard life. ॥ 2-28-17॥
english translation
yathAlabdhena kartavyaH santoSstena maithili । yatAhArairvanacaraiH sIte duHkhamato vanam ॥ 2-28-17
