तस्य अपि हि भवेद् अस्मिन् कर्मण्यप्रतिसंहृते | सत्यम् न इति मनः तापः तस्य तापः तपेच् च माम् || २-२२-१०

If the preparations for the consecration are not withdrawn, my father will suffer mental agony for the fear that his word has not come true and his agony will torment me. [2-22-10]

english translation

tasya api hi bhaved asmin karmaNyapratisaMhRte | satyam na iti manaH tApaH tasya tApaH tapec ca mAm || 2-22-10
