अयोध्या दृश्यते दूरात्सारथे पाण्डुमृत्तिका । यज्वभिर्गुणसम्पन्नैर्ब्राह्मणैर्वेदपारगैः ॥ २-७१-२०

Oh ! charioteer, I am able to see ( not so clearly ) Ayodhya from a distance as a heap of white clay. Virtuous brahmins and priests who perform sacrifices and who are well versed in the Vedas - ॥ 2-71-20॥

english translation

ayodhyA dRzyate dUrAtsArathe pANDumRttikA । yajvabhirguNasampannairbrAhmaNairvedapAragaiH ॥ 2-71-20
