स शक्रवद दानवदैत्य संघान; विक्रम्य जित्वा च रणे ऽरिसंघान विगाह्य तां पुष्करिणीं जितारिः; कामाय जग्राह ततॊ ऽमबुजानि ॥ ३-१५२-२१ ॥
'Having thus, through his immense prowess, vanquished those hosts—just as Indra had once defeated the armies of the Daityas and Danavas—Bhima, now victorious over the enemy, plunged into the lake and began gathering the lotuses to fulfill his purpose.' ॥ 3-152-21 ॥

ततः स पीत्वामृत कल्पम अम्भॊ; भूयॊ बभूवॊत्तम वीर्यतेजाः उत्पाट्य जग्राह ततॊ ऽमबुजानि; सौगन्धिकान्य उत्तमगन्धवन्ति ॥ ३-१५२-२२ ॥
'As he drank the nectar-like waters, his energy and strength were fully revived, and he began plucking and gathering the Saugandhika lotuses, which were of exquisite fragrance.' ॥ 3-152-22 ॥
english translation
ततस तु ते करॊधवशाः समेत्य; धनेश्वरं भीमबलप्रणुन्नाः भीमस्य वीर्यं च बलं च संख्ये; यथावद आचख्युर अतीव दीनाः ॥ ३-१५२-२३ ॥
'On the other hand, the Krodhavasas, overwhelmed by Bhima's might and filled with great fear, approached the lord of wealth and gave a full and accurate account of Bhima's strength and valor in battle.' ॥ 3-152-23 ॥

तेषां वचस तत तु निशम्य देवः; परहस्य रक्षांशि ततॊ ऽभयुवाच गृह्णातु भीमॊ जलजानि कामं; कृष्णा निमित्तं विदितं ममैतत ॥ ३-१५२-२४ ॥
'Hearing their words, the god (Kuvera) smiled and replied, "Let Bhima gather as many lotuses as he wishes for Krishna. This is already known to me."' ॥ 3-152-24 ॥

ततॊ ऽभयनुज्ञाय धनेश्वरं ते; जग्मुः कुरूणां परवरं विरॊषाः भीमं च तस्यां ददृशुर नलिन्यां; यथॊपजॊषं विहरन्तम एकम ॥ ३-१५२-२५ ॥
'With the lord of wealth's permission granted, the Rakshasas, having cast aside their anger, went to the foremost of the Kurus. There, at the lotus lake, they saw Bhima alone, joyously reveling in delight.' ॥ 3-152-25 ॥
