ते तं तदा तॊमरपट्टिशाद यैर; वयाविध्य शस्त्रैः सहसाभिपेतुः जिघांसवः करॊधवशाः सुभीमा; भीमं समन्तात परिवव्रुर उग्राः ।। ३-१५२-१६ ।।

sanskrit

'In response, the Rakshasas rushed at him with great fury, brandishing their lances, axes, and other weapons. And wishing to destroy Bhima, the dreadful and fierce Krodhavasas surrounded Bhima on all sides.' ।। 3-152-16 ।।

te taM tadA tòmarapaTTizAda yaira; vayAvidhya zastraiH sahasAbhipetuH jighAMsavaH karòdhavazAH subhImA; bhImaM samantAta parivavrura ugrAH || 3-152-16 ||

'But he, endowed with immense strength, had been born of Vayu in the womb of Kunti. A hero of great valor, relentless in battle, he was the slayer of foes, ever devoted to virtue and truth, and invincible in his prowess, unable to be subdued by any enemy.' ।। 3-152-17 ।।

vAtena kuntyAM balavAna sa jAtaH; zUrasa tarasvI daviSatAM nihantA satye ca dharme ca rataH sadaiva; parAkrame zatrubhira apradhRSyaH || 3-152-17 ||

'Beaten and pierced by Bhimasena, the Krodhavasas abandoned the battlefield and, in utter confusion, fled swiftly towards the Kailasa peak, taking refuge in the sky.' ।। 3-152-20 ।।
