वातेन कुन्त्यां बलवान स जातः; शूरस तरस्वी दविषतां निहन्ता सत्ये च धर्मे च रतः सदैव; पराक्रमे शत्रुभिर अप्रधृष्यः ॥ ३-१५२-१७ ॥
'But he, endowed with immense strength, had been born of Vayu in the womb of Kunti. A hero of great valor, relentless in battle, he was the slayer of foes, ever devoted to virtue and truth, and invincible in his prowess, unable to be subdued by any enemy.' ॥ 3-152-17 ॥
