[वै] संतिष्ठत परहरत तूर्णं विपरिधावत इति सम सैधवॊ राजा चॊदयाम आस तान नृपान ॥ ३-२५५-१ ॥
'Vaisampayana said: Meanwhile, the king of Sindhu urged the princes, commanding, 'Stand firm! Attack! Advance—quickly!' and the like.' ॥ 3-255-1 ॥
english translation
ततॊ घॊरतरः शब्दॊ रणे समभवत तदा भीमार्जुनयमान दृष्ट्वा सैन्यानां सयुधिष्ठिरान ॥ ३-२५५-२ ॥
'And upon seeing Bhīma, Arjuna, and the twin brothers alongside Yudhishthira, the soldiers raised a mighty roar across the battlefield.' ॥ 3-255-2 ॥
english translation
शिबिसिन्धुत्रिगर्तानां विषादश चाप्य अजायत तान दृष्ट्वा पुरुषव्याघ्रान वयाघ्रान इव बलॊत्कटान ॥ ३-२५५-३ ॥
'And at the sight of those mighty heroes, fierce as tigers, the warriors of the Śibi, Sauvīra, and Sindhu tribes lost heart.' ॥ 3-255-3 ॥

हेमचित्रसमुत्सेधां सर्वशैक्यायसीं गदाम परगृह्याभ्यद्रवद भीमः सैन्धवं कालचॊदितम ॥ ३-२५५-४ ॥
'And Bhīmasena, wielding a mace of solid Śaikya iron, embossed with gold, rushed toward the Saindhava king, doomed to his fate.' ॥ 3-255-4 ॥

तदन्तरम अथावृत्य कॊटिकाश्यॊ ऽभयहारयत महता रथवंशेन परिवार्य वृकॊदरम ॥ ३-२५५-५ ॥
'But Kotikākṣa, swiftly surrounding Vṛkodara with a host of mighty charioteers, intercepted him, separating the two warriors.' ॥ 3-255-5 ॥
