तुल्या हि सर्वभूतानाम इयं वैश्रवणस्य च एवंगतेषु दरव्येषु कः कं याचितुम अर्हति ॥ ३-१५२-११ ॥
'Therefore, it belongs equally to all creatures, just as it does to Vaishravana. In matters of such nature, who would go to beg from another?' ॥ 3-152-11 ॥
english translation
tulyA hi sarvabhUtAnAma iyaM vaizravaNasya ca evaMgateSu daravyeSu kaH kaM yAcituma arhati ॥ 3-152-11 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscript[वै] इत्य उक्त्वा राक्षसान सर्वान भीमसेनॊ वयगाहत ततः स राक्षसैर वाचा परतिषिद्धः परतापवान मा मैवम इति सक्रॊधैर भर्त्सयद्भिः समन्ततः ॥ ३-१५२-१२ ॥
'Vaisampayana said, "Having spoken thus to the Rakshasas, the mighty-armed and exceedingly irritable Bhimasena, renowned for his great strength, plunged into the lotus-lake. At once, the Rakshasas forbade him, saying, 'Do not do this!' and from all sides, they angrily began to berate him."' ॥ 3-152-12 ॥
english translation
[vai] itya uktvA rAkSasAna sarvAna bhImasenò vayagAhata tataH sa rAkSasaira vAcA paratiSiddhaH paratApavAna mA maivama iti sakròdhaira bhartsayadbhiH samantataH ॥ 3-152-12 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकदर्थी कृत्यतु स तान राक्षसान भीमविक्रमः वयगाहत महातेजास ते तं सर्वे नयवारयन ॥ ३-१५२-१३ ॥
'Disregarding these Rakshasas, the mighty Bhima of dreadful prowess continued to advance. Seeing this, they all prepared to oppose him.' ॥ 3-152-13 ॥

kadarthI kRtyatu sa tAna rAkSasAna bhImavikramaH vayagAhata mahAtejAsa te taM sarve nayavArayana ॥ 3-152-13 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगृह्णीत बध्नीत निकृन्ततेमं; पचाम खादाम च भीमसेनम करुद्धा बरुवन्तॊ ऽनुययुर दरुतं ते; शस्त्राणि चॊद्यम्य विवृत्तनेत्राः ॥ ३-१५२-१४ ॥
'With eyes rolling in fury, they raised their arms and charged at Bhimasena, shouting, 'Seize him! Bind him! Cut him down! We will cook Bhimasena and devour him!'' ॥ 3-152-14 ॥

gRhNIta badhnIta nikRntatemaM; pacAma khAdAma ca bhImasenama karuddhA baruvantò 'nuyayura darutaM te; zastrANi còdyamya vivRttanetrAH ॥ 3-152-14 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततः स गुर्वी यमदण्डकल्पां; महागदां काञ्चनपट्टनद्धाम परगृह्य तान अभ्यपतत तरस्वी; ततॊ ऽबरवीत तिष्ठत तिष्ठतेति ॥ ३-१५२-१५ ॥
'Thereupon, the mighty Bhimasena, wielding his massive mace adorned with golden plates, resembling the mace of Yama himself, turned toward them and commanded, "Stay!"' ॥ 3-152-15 ॥

tataH sa gurvI yamadaNDakalpAM; mahAgadAM kAJcanapaTTanaddhAma paragRhya tAna abhyapatata tarasvI; tatò 'baravIta tiSThata tiSThateti ॥ 3-152-15 ॥
