अन्यायेनेह यः कश चिद अवमन्य धनेश्वरम विहर्तुम इच्छेद दुर्वृत्तः स विनश्येद असंशयम ।। ३-१५२-६ ।।

sanskrit

'The wicked person who, disregarding the lord of treasures, unlawfully attempts to sport here, shall surely meet with destruction.' ।। 3-152-6 ।।

english translation

anyAyeneha yaH kaza cida avamanya dhanezvarama vihartuma iccheda durvRttaH sa vinazyeda asaMzayama || 3-152-6 ||

तम अनादृत्य पद्मानि जिहीर्षसि बलाद इतः धर्मराजस्य चात्मानं बरवीषि भरातरं कथम ।। ३-१५२-७ ।।

sanskrit

'Ignoring this, you seek to forcibly take the lotuses from this sacred place. Why, then, do you claim to be the brother of Yudhishthira, the just? First, with the permission of the lord of the Yakshas, drink from this lake and take the flowers. If you do not do so, you will not even be able to glance at a single lotus.' ।। 3-152-7 ।।

tama anAdRtya padmAni jihIrSasi balAda itaH dharmarAjasya cAtmAnaM baravISi bharAtaraM kathama || 3-152-7 ||

[भीम] राक्षसास तं न पश्यामि धनेश्वरम इहान्तिके दृष्ट्वापि च महाराजं नाहं याचितुम उत्सहे ।। ३-१५२-८ ।।

'Bhimasena said, "O Rakshasas, I do not see the lord of wealth here. And even if I did see that mighty king..."' ।। 3-152-8 ।।

english translation

[bhIma] rAkSasAsa taM na pazyAmi dhanezvarama ihAntike dRSTvApi ca mahArAjaM nAhaM yAcituma utsahe || 3-152-8 ||

न हि याचन्ति राजान एष धर्मः सनातनः न चाहं हातुम इच्छामि कषात्र धर्मं कथं चन ।। ३-१५२-९ ।।

'I would not beg, for Kshatriyas never beg. This is the eternal code of righteousness, and I have no desire to abandon the duty of a Kshatriya.' ।। 3-152-9 ।।

na hi yAcanti rAjAna eSa dharmaH sanAtanaH na cAhaM hAtuma icchAmi kaSAtra dharmaM kathaM cana || 3-152-9 ||

'Moreover, this lotus lake has sprung from the mountain's cascades; it has not been created within the mansion of Kuvera.' ।। 3-152-10 ।।

iyaM ca nalinI ramyA jatA parvatanirjhare neyaM bhavanama AsAdya kuberasya mahAtmanaH || 3-152-10 ||
