Duryodhana said: O Sañjaya, having obtained seven akṣauhiṇīs together with allied kings, what indeed does Yudhiṣṭhira, Kuntī’s son, desire, intent upon a strategic engagement?

english translation

Sañjaya said: O king, Yudhiṣṭhira is exceedingly confident, intent on a strategic engagement; and both Bhīmasena and Arjuna—as well as the twin sons—are not apprehensive.

english translation

But the son of Kuntī—Bībhatsu—made ready a divine chariot that lit up all the quarters; and, intent on understanding the proper mantra, he set it in order.

english translation

We saw him fully armed, like a cloud radiant with lightning. Having pondered the mantras, he spoke with unmistakable exhilaration.

english translation

“Behold this as a foretoken of what is to come: we shall prevail, O Sañjaya.” Just as Bībhatsu told me, so do I understand it as well.
