Duryodhana said: You praise and applaud those Pārthas who were defeated in the dice-game. Tell me of Arjuna’s chariot—what are the horses like, and what is his standard like?

english translation

Sañjaya said: O lord of the people, Bhauvana together with Śakra fashioned many wondrous forms; and Tvaṣṭṛ, along with Dhātṛ, devised the designs, O mighty one.

english translation

Upon that banner, by divine artifice, they brought forth many forms—celestial emblems and mighty insignia—both great and small.

english translation

That banner, extending a yojana in every direction, spread both sideways and upward; even when surrounded by trees it did not become entangled—such was the artifice fashioned by Bhauvana.

english translation

Just as the rainbow appears in the sky—neither of a single color nor easily defined—so too this banner, fashioned by Bhauvana, was seen to assume many forms.
