बलानि तेषां वीराणाम आगच्छन्ति ततस ततः चालयन्तीव गां देवीं स पर्वत वनाम इमाम ॥ ५-५-१७ ॥
‘The land resounded with military bands of the fourfold forces, and from every direction the troops poured in. Even the goddess Earth, along with her mountains and forests, seemed to tremble beneath their tread.’ ॥ 5-5-17 ॥
