Our host is substantial—hard to overpower and difficult to assail. In ordered battle it will destroy the Dhārtarāṣṭra force; of this there is no doubt.

english translation

When Kṛṣṇa had spoken thus, the foremost of men were greatly heartened; and among those whose spirits were uplifted, a mighty roar arose.

english translation

Then, as the troops hurried and surged forward with the cry of “yoga” (to harness and assemble), there arose everywhere the sounds of horses and elephants, the rumble of chariot-wheels, and on all sides a tumultuous resonance of conches and kettledrums.

english translation

As the Pāṇḍavas set forth with their forces arrayed on every side, the host appeared formidable and hard to assail—like the sacred Gaṅgā when full.

english translation

At the head of the formation went Bhīmasena; the two sons of Mādrī, fully armored; Saubhadra (Abhimanyu); the sons of Draupadī; and Dhṛṣṭadyumna, son of Pṛṣata. The Prabhadrakas and the Pāñcālas advanced as well, with Bhīmasena in the lead.
