स एवम उक्त्वा दविपदां वरिष्ठः; पराणान वशीस्वान सहसॊत्ससर्ज ततः सुरास ते जगृहुः परासॊर; अस्थीनि तस्याथ यथॊपदेशम ॥ ३-९८-२१ ॥
'And that great sage, having uttered these words and mastering his vital essence, suddenly relinquished his life. Following his instructions, the gods then gathered the bones of the departed Rishi.' ॥ 3-98-21 ॥

परहृष्टरूपाश च जयाय देवास; तवष्टारम आगम्य तम अर्थम ऊचुः तवष्टा तु तेषां वचनं निशम्य; परहृष्टरूपः परयतः परयत्नात ॥ ३-९८-२२ ॥
'And the gods, with delighted forms (overjoyed), approached Tvashta and told him their purpose. Tvashta, having heard their words, became delighted and made efforts with great care/devotion.' ॥ 3-98-22 ॥

चकार वज्रं भृशम उग्ररूपं; कृत्वा च शक्रं स उवाच हृष्टः अनेन वज्रप्रवरेण देव; भस्मीकुरुष्वाद्य सुरारिम उग्रम ॥ ३-९८-२३ ॥
'He carefully crafted the fierce weapon known as Vajra from those bones. After its completion, he joyfully addressed Indra, saying, "With this supreme weapon, O exalted one, turn that formidable enemy of the gods to ashes!"' ॥ 3-98-23 ॥

ततॊ हतारिः सगणः सुखं वै; परशाधि कृत्स्नं तरिदिवं दिवि षठः तवष्ट्रा तथॊक्तः स पुरंदरस तु; वज्रं परहृष्टः परयतॊ ऽभयगृह्णात ॥ ३-९८-२४ ॥
'"Having vanquished the foe, reign joyfully over the vast expanse of heaven, O chief of the celestials, alongside your loyal followers." Thus addressed by Twashtri, Purandara accepted the Vajra from his hand with great respect and delight.' ॥ 3-98-24 ॥
