अत्यन्यान पर्वतान राजन पुण्यॊ गिरिवरः शिवः महेन्द्रॊ नाम कौरव्य भार्गवस्य महात्मनः ।। ३-८५-१६ ।।

sanskrit

'In that region, O scion of the Kuru lineage, lies the sacred mountain known as Mahendra, honored by the esteemed Rama of the Bhrigu clan.' ।। 3-85-16 ।।

english translation

atyanyAna parvatAna rAjana puNyò girivaraH zivaH mahendrò nAma kauravya bhArgavasya mahAtmanaH || 3-85-16 ||

'There, O son of Kunti, the Grandsire offered his sacrifices in ancient times. There, O Yudhishthira, the sacred Bhagiratha flows into a lake, and in that place.' ।। 3-85-17 ।।

'O king, lies the holy river known as Brahmasara, which bestows merit. Its banks are frequented by those whose sins have been washed away, and even the sight of it grants great virtue.' ।। 3-85-18 ।।

'Additionally, there lies the enchanting mountain called Kundoda, rich in fruits, roots, and refreshing waters, where Nala, the king of the Nishadhas, quenched his thirst and found respite for a while.' ।। 3-85-20 ।।
