पवित्रॊ मङ्गलीयश च खयातॊ लॊके सनातनः केदारश च मतङ्गस्य महान आश्रम उत्तमः ॥ ३-८५-१९ ॥

'In that direction lies the esteemed asylum of the high-souled Matanga, known as Kedara. This sacred and auspicious place is renowned throughout the world.' ॥ 3-85-19 ॥
