स नॊ राजा धृतराष्ट्रस्य पुत्रॊ; नयपातयद वयसने राज्यम इच्छन दास्यं च नॊ ऽगमयद भीमसेन; यत्राभवच छरणं दरौपदी नः ॥ ३-३५-६ ॥
'When King Duryodhana, the son of Dhritarashtra, coveted our kingdom and plunged us into misery and even slavery, it was Draupadi who rescued us, O Bhima.' ॥ 3-35-6 ॥
english translation
तवं चापि तद वेत्थ धनंजयश च; पुनर्द्यूतायागतानां सभां नः यन माब्रवीद धृतराष्ट्रस्य पुत्र; एकग्लहार्थं भरतानां समक्षम ॥ ३-३५-७ ॥
'When summoned again to the assembly to play once more, thou knowest as well as Arjuna what Dhritarashtra's son declared in the presence of all the Bharatas:' ॥ 3-35-7 ॥
english translation
वने समा दवादश राजपुत्र; यथाकामं विदितम अजातशत्रॊ अथापरं चाविदितं चरेथाः; सर्वैः सह भरातृभिश छद्म गूढः ॥ ३-३५-८ ॥
'If vanquished, thou and thy brothers were to dwell in the forest of your choice for twelve years, and spend the thirteenth year in secrecy, with all men aware of your fate.' ॥ 3-35-8 ॥

तवां चेच छरुत्वा तात तथा चरन्तम; अवभॊत्स्यन्ते भरतानां चराः सम अन्यांश चरेथास तावतॊ ऽबदांस ततस तवं; निश्चित्य तत परतिजानीहि पार्थ ॥ ३-३५-९ ॥
'If, during the latter period, the Bharatas' spies, upon hearing of you, succeed in discovering your whereabouts, you will be required to spend another term in the forest, with the final year again in secrecy. Consider this carefully and vow to abide by it.' ॥ 3-35-9 ॥

चरैश चेन नॊ ऽविदितः कालम एतं; युक्तॊ राजन मॊहयित्वा मदीयान बरवीमि सत्यं कुरुसंसदीह; तवैव ता भारत पञ्च नद्यः ॥ ३-३५-१० ॥
'As for myself, I pledge in this assembly of the Kurus that if you can elude my spies and remain undiscovered throughout this period, then, O Bharata, the kingdom of the five rivers shall once again be yours.' ॥ 3-35-10 ॥
