चरैश चेन नॊ ऽविदितः कालम एतं; युक्तॊ राजन मॊहयित्वा मदीयान बरवीमि सत्यं कुरुसंसदीह; तवैव ता भारत पञ्च नद्यः ।। ३-३५-१० ।।

sanskrit

'As for myself, I pledge in this assembly of the Kurus that if you can elude my spies and remain undiscovered throughout this period, then, O Bharata, the kingdom of the five rivers shall once again be yours.' ।। 3-35-10 ।।

english translation

caraiza cena nò 'viditaH kAlama etaM; yuktò rAjana mòhayitvA madIyAna baravImi satyaM kurusaMsadIha; tavaiva tA bhArata paJca nadyaH || 3-35-10 ||
