परपतेद दयौः सनक्षत्रा पृथिवी शकलीभवेत शैत्यम अग्निर इयान नाहं तयजेयं रगुनन्दनम ।। ३-२६२-३६ ।।

'The heavens with all their stars may collapse, the very Earth may shatter into fragments, and fire may lose its heat—yet I shall never forsake the scion of Raghu!' ।। 3-262-36 ।।

'Having spoken thus, her lips quivering with anger and her garments fluttering as she moved, she swiftly entered the hermitage again. But that wicked Rakshasa prince pursued her, swiftly seizing the edge of her garment, and blocked her path.' ।। 3-262-39 ।।
