यथॊपदेशं नियता वर्तमाना वराङ्गने सवलंकृता सुप्रयता भर्तुः परियहिते रता ॥ ३-२२२-३१ ॥
'O beautiful lady, decked in ornaments and ever controlled by the instructions imparted to me, I always devotedly seek the good of my lord.' ॥ 3-222-31 ॥
english translation
yathòpadezaM niyatA vartamAnA varAGgane savalaMkRtA suprayatA bhartuH pariyahite ratA ॥ 3-222-31 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptये च धर्माः कुटुम्बेषु शवश्र्वा मे कथिताः पुरा भिक्षा बलिश्राधम इति सथाली पाकाश च पर्वसु मान्यानां मानसत्कारा ये चान्ये विदिता मया ॥ ३-२२२-३२ ॥
'The duties that my mother-in-law instructed me regarding relatives, along with those of almsgiving, worshiping the gods, offering oblations to the diseased, boiling food in pots on auspicious days to offer to ancestors and guests, and showing reverence and service to those deserving of our respect.' ॥ 3-222-32 ॥

ye ca dharmAH kuTumbeSu zavazrvA me kathitAH purA bhikSA balizrAdhama iti sathAlI pAkAza ca parvasu mAnyAnAM mAnasatkArA ye cAnye viditA mayA ॥ 3-222-32 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतान सर्वान अनुवर्तामि दिवारात्रम अतन्द्रिता विनयान नियमांश चापि सदा सर्वात्मना शरिता ॥ ३-२२२-३३ ॥
'I always follow all these duties, both day and night, without any sleep, with humility and discipline, dedicating myself wholeheartedly to them.' ॥ 3-222-33 ॥
english translation
tAna sarvAna anuvartAmi divArAtrama atandritA vinayAna niyamAMza cApi sadA sarvAtmanA zaritA ॥ 3-222-33 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमृदून सतः सत्यशीलान सत्यधर्मानुपालिनः आशीविषान इव करुद्धान पतीन परिचराम्य अहम ॥ ३-२२२-३४ ॥
'With my whole heart, I adhere to humility and the prescribed rules, serving my meek and truthful lords, who are ever observant of virtue, treating them as poisonous snakes that may be provoked by the slightest provocation.' ॥ 3-222-34 ॥

mRdUna sataH satyazIlAna satyadharmAnupAlinaH AzIviSAna iva karuddhAna patIna paricarAmya ahama ॥ 3-222-34 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपत्याश्रयॊ हि मे धर्मॊ मतः सत्रीणां सनातनः स देवः सागतिर नान्या तस्य का विप्रियं चरेत ॥ ३-२२२-३५ ॥
'I believe that the eternal virtue for women is one that is based on reverence for the husband. The husband is the wife’s god and her refuge. Indeed, there is no other refuge for her.' ॥ 3-222-35 ॥

patyAzrayò hi me dharmò mataH satrINAM sanAtanaH sa devaH sAgatira nAnyA tasya kA vipriyaM careta ॥ 3-222-35 ॥
