कषुब्धतॊया महाघॊषाः शवसमाना इवाशुगाः सिन्धवः शॊभयां चक्रुः काननानि तपात्यये ।। ३-१७९-६ ।।

sanskrit

'The rivers, turbulent with water, making great roaring sounds, (and) moving swiftly as if breathing/panting, beautified the forests at the end of summer/heat.' ।। 3-179-6 ।।

english translation

'As the rain fell upon them, the boars, stags, and birds began to make a variety of sounds, which echoed throughout the forest.' ।। 3-179-7 ।।

'The peacocks are joyful/excited, and together with groups of male cuckoos, they fly around as if intoxicated, and the frogs too are proud/elated.' ।। 3-179-8 ।।
