वदन्ति मधुरा वाचः सर्वभूतमनॊ ऽनुगाः भृङ्गराजॊपचक्राश च लॊहपृष्ठाश च पत्रिणः ॥ ३-१५५-७६ ॥

'They speak sweet words, pleasing to the hearts of all beings. The bees, humming with joy, and the insects with iron-colored wings, are also present.' ॥ 3-155-76 ॥

vadanti madhurA vAcaH sarvabhUtamanò 'nugAH bhRGgarAjòpacakrAza ca lòhapRSThAza ca patriNaH ॥ 3-155-76 ॥

चतुर्विषाणाः पद्माभाः कुञ्जराः सकरेणवः एते वैडूर्य वर्णाभं कषॊभयन्ति महत सरः ॥ ३-१५५-७७ ॥

'Behold! These elephants, with four tusks and as white as lotuses, along with their mates, are stirring up the vast lake, which bears the color of lapis lazuli.' ॥ 3-155-77 ॥

'From numerous cascades, torrents as high as a stack of palmyra palms are rushing down from the cliffs.' ॥ 3-155-78 ॥

भास्कराभ परभा भीम शारदाभ्रघनॊपमाः शॊभयन्ति महाशैलं नाना रजतधातवः ॥ ३-१५५-७९ ॥

'The mountain is adorned by numerous silver-like ores, shining with the brilliance of the sun's rays, resembling the grandeur of dark monsoon clouds, and gleaming like the radiance of Sarasvati.' ॥ 3-155-79 ॥

bhAskarAbha parabhA bhIma zAradAbhraghanòpamAH zòbhayanti mahAzailaM nAnA rajatadhAtavaH ॥ 3-155-79 ॥

कव चिद अञ्जन वर्णाभाः कव चित काञ्चनसंनिभाः धातवॊ हरितालस्य कवचिद धि गुलकस्य च ॥ ३-१५५-८० ॥

'Some are dark as collyrium, others golden-hued, and some resemble the ores of green talc, while others resemble the shining armor of a hero.' ॥ 3-155-80 ॥
