हिरण्यसदृशैः पुष्पैर दावाग्निसदृशैर अपि लॊहितैर अञ्जनाभैश च वैडूर्य ददृशैर अपि ।। ३-१५५-६१ ।।

sanskrit

'On the slopes of the mountain, there were various blossoming trees, each more enchanting than the last. Some bore golden-hued flowers, while others were tinged with the fiery red of a forest conflagration, some were dark like sable, and others, green as lapis lazuli.' ।। 3-155-61 ।।

As they continued, a gentle breeze caressed them, its touch soothing and fragrant with the scents of kamalas, utpalas, kalharas, and pundarikas. Then, Yudhishthira, with a sense of delight, turned to Bhima and said, "Ah, Bhima, this forest of Gandhamadana is truly beautiful."' ।। 3-155-65 ।।
