विमलस्फटिकाभानि पाण्डुरछदनैर दविजैः राजहंसैर उपेतानि सारसाभिरुतानि च सरांसि सरितः पार्थाः पश्यन्तः शैलसानुषु ॥ ३-१५५-६६ ॥
'In this enchanting forest, various celestial trees and creepers bloom in abundance, adorned with lush foliage and ripe fruits, with no tree left without flowers. On the slopes of Gandhamadana, every tree is rich with smooth leaves and abundant fruit. Behold the lotus-lakes, their full-bloomed lotuses swaying, resonating with the hum of black bees, and stirred by elephants with their mates.' ॥ 3-155-66 ॥

पद्मॊत्पलविचित्राणि सुखस्पर्श जलानि च गन्धवन्ति च माल्यानि रसवन्ति फलानि च अतीव वृक्षा राजन्ते पुष्पिताः शैलसानुषु ॥ ३-१५५-६७ ॥
'Behold another lotus-lake, surrounded by rows of blooming lotuses, resembling a second embodiment of Lakshmi, adorned with garlands. In this splendid forest, there are beautiful stretches of woodland, enriched with the fragrance of various blossoms, and resonating with the hum of black bees.' ॥ 3-155-67 ॥

एते चान्ये च बहवस तत्र काननजा दरुमाः लताश च विविधाकाराः पत्रपुष्पफलॊच्चयाः ॥ ३-१५५-६८ ॥
'And, O Bhima, behold on all sides the splendid playground of the celestials. By coming here, we have attained a divine state and been blessed. O Partha, on these slopes of Gandhamadana, the beautiful blossoming trees, embraced by creepers with flowers atop, appear enchanting.' ॥ 3-155-68 ॥

युधिष्ठिरस तु तान वृक्षान पश्यमानॊ नगॊत्तमे भीमसेनम इदं वाक्यम अब्रवीन मधुराक्षरम ॥ ३-१५५-६९ ॥
'And, O Bhima, listen to the melodious calls of the peacocks, crying alongside their mates on the mountain slopes.' ॥ 3-155-69 ॥

पश्य भीम शुभान देशान देवाक्रीडान समन्ततः अमानुष गतिं पराप्ताः संसिद्धाः सम वृकॊदर ॥ ३-१५५-७० ॥
The divine sports of the gods everywhere, We have attained a superhuman state, Having reached perfection, O Vrikodara.' ॥ 3-155-70 ॥
