विमलस्फटिकाभानि पाण्डुरछदनैर दविजैः राजहंसैर उपेतानि सारसाभिरुतानि च सरांसि सरितः पार्थाः पश्यन्तः शैलसानुषु ।। ३-१५५-६६ ।।

'In this enchanting forest, various celestial trees and creepers bloom in abundance, adorned with lush foliage and ripe fruits, with no tree left without flowers. On the slopes of Gandhamadana, every tree is rich with smooth leaves and abundant fruit. Behold the lotus-lakes, their full-bloomed lotuses swaying, resonating with the hum of black bees, and stirred by elephants with their mates.' ।। 3-155-66 ।।

'Behold another lotus-lake, surrounded by rows of blooming lotuses, resembling a second embodiment of Lakshmi, adorned with garlands. In this splendid forest, there are beautiful stretches of woodland, enriched with the fragrance of various blossoms, and resonating with the hum of black bees.' ।। 3-155-67 ।।

'And, O Bhima, behold on all sides the splendid playground of the celestials. By coming here, we have attained a divine state and been blessed. O Partha, on these slopes of Gandhamadana, the beautiful blossoming trees, embraced by creepers with flowers atop, appear enchanting.' ।। 3-155-68 ।।
