कांश चिच छकुन जातांश च विटपेषूत्कटान अपि कलाप रचिताटॊपान विचित्रमुकुटान इव विवरेषु तरूणां च मुदितान ददृशुश च ते ॥ ३-१५५-५६ ॥
'They saw some bird species perched high on the branches, adorned with elaborate plumage, appearing like those wearing intricate crowns, joyful in the hollows and crevices of the trees.' ॥ 3-155-56 ॥

सिन्धुवारान अथॊद्दामान मन्मथस्येव तॊमरान सुवर्णकुसुमाकीर्णान गिरीणां शिखरेषु च ॥ ३-१५५-५७ ॥
'In the glades, they beheld the graceful Sindhuvaras, resembling the darts of Cupid. On the mountain summits, they saw blooming Karnikaras, adorned with golden-hued blossoms, appearing like exquisite earrings of the finest craftsmanship.' ॥ 3-155-57 ॥

कर्णिकारान विरचितान कर्ण पूरान इवॊत्तमान अथापश्यन कुरबकान वनराजिषु पुष्पितान कामवश्यॊत्सुक करान कामस्येव शरॊत्करान ॥ ३-१५५-५८ ॥
'They saw the Karnikara trees adorned like excellent ear ornaments, and the Kurubaka trees blossoming in the forest rows, eager with the passion of love, as if they were arrows of Kamadeva (the god of love).' ॥ 3-155-58 ॥

तथैव वनराजीनाम उदारान रचितान इव विराजमानांस ते ऽपश्यंस तिलकांस तिलकान इव ॥ ३-१५५-५९ ॥
'They also saw Tilakas, like beauty spots adorning the forest's forehead. Mango trees, adorned with blossoms, were swarmed by black bees, serving as arrows of Cupid, spreading their enchantment.' ॥ 3-155-59 ॥

तथानङ्ग शराकारान सहकारान मनॊरमान अपश्यन भरमरारावान मञ्जरीभिर विराजितान ॥ ३-१५५-६० ॥
'Similarly, they saw the beautiful Sahakara trees, shaped like Ananga's (Kamadeva's) arrows, adorned with clusters of flowers and resonating with the buzzing of bees.' ॥ 3-155-60 ॥
