कर्णिकारान विरचितान कर्ण पूरान इवॊत्तमान अथापश्यन कुरबकान वनराजिषु पुष्पितान कामवश्यॊत्सुक करान कामस्येव शरॊत्करान ॥ ३-१५५-५८ ॥
'They saw the Karnikara trees adorned like excellent ear ornaments, and the Kurubaka trees blossoming in the forest rows, eager with the passion of love, as if they were arrows of Kamadeva (the god of love).' ॥ 3-155-58 ॥
